New Co-Driver for Christine GZ
Dynamic Racing is set to tackle the Baja Portalegre 500 this weekend and they have recruited a new shotgun rider brave enough to sit next to Christine GZ. His name is Manuel Navarro and he is the new Co-driver for Dynamic Racing and will be navigating for Christine GZ in the 2018 Baja Portalegre 500.
But, who is this handsome man in aviator sunglasses and why has our Christine given him permission to jump into her #962?
Manuel started his racing career in 2001 debuting in his first race at the Baja Portalegre 500 (possibly a good sign from the forces unknown). Since then his career in motorsport has stretched internationally to the biggest off-road rallies in the world with some impressive names attached to these events. He has raced in Dakar, the Morocco Desert Challenge, Libya rally, and NPO Rally de Marruecos. Working as a co-driver for status drivers like bi-champion of the world Marc Blazquez of Nissan Spain, and Pierre Gameiro from MRacing in Portugal. A resume of high octane experience.
Manuel’s character is perfect for being a co-driver and he himself cannot imagine doing anything else. He considers himself a methodical person who cares about detail and order, with an ambition to match.
“I rather be 16th in the world than 1st in my own town.”
– Manuel Navarro
It’s that drive that keeps Manuel on the hunt for new opportunities. Manuel is proud of knowing that in his 18 years in motorsport he can approach former teammates, some who later turned into racing rivals, with a hug and a handshake. This business is as much about people as it is about speed.
So Why Did He Pick Dynamic Racing?
“Dynamic Racing opens me up to new sporting and personal challenges for which I think I’m ready for.” Manuel stated. When asked about what he thought about Christine he had nothing but words of inspiration that really surprised us at how accurate he was in his description of our star driver:
“Christine, far from what it may seem, is an accessible and close person. Ready to burst into the specialty with the force of a tornado! She has big projects ahead and a great desire to improve, which when well managed will make her unstoppable, professional and an impeccable image – ideal for a world in constant motion as ours.”
Manuel Navarro is a team player with the experience to prove it. As a co-driver he wants to live up to Christine’s expectations and join the force that will help her achieve the goals that hold on tight to her dreams.
Fresh optimism is in the air and Dynamic Racing is excited for the Baja Portalegre 500 October 26th-27th. Backing Team Dynamic Racing, as always, will be sponsors: Maglock USA, J.Juan Brakes, Factory UTV, Weddle Racing Gears and KC Hilites.
